Moving away from expensive and unreliable tape backups to multi level, reliable and portable storage of data is a top priority within our business. We use the software to give our customers excellent DR strategies, with minimum cost, minimum downtime, and maximum flexibility.

We have used the software for many customer projects, from backing up single desktops, or laptops, all the way through to using continuous incremental snapshots of multiple servers sent off-site via the internet. We have used the ability to recover to a Virtual environment to help us plan for migrations and software upgrades of critical customer systems, all in the knowledge that we couldn’t break the live system.

We backup our own equipment using ShadowProtect and regularly use it in test situations to help our customers understand its benefits.
